What is Basenautic and who is it for?
One system for bookings, payments, owners and charter parties of a yacht charter company.
Basenautic is web software for yacht charter companies. It replaces the spreadsheets, email threads and notebooks most charter offices use to run a season.
It was built inside a working charter company in Greece, Papoulakis Yachting, to run its own fleet. Every feature exists because a real season needed it.
Who it is for
- Bareboat and crewed charter companies with their own or managed yachts.
- Yacht management companies that report income and expenses to owners.
- Charter offices that work with agents and brokers (partners) and pay or receive commissions.
It works for companies anywhere. Companies registered in Greece also get the export for the Greek e-charter party platform (echarterparty.yna.gov.gr).
What it does
| Area | What you get |
|---|---|
| Bookings | Every charter per yacht and season, with partner, customer, prices, commission, discount, VAT, extras and files |
| Payments | Deposit and balance per booking with due dates, partial payments, agent credit, a live status (paid, partial, overdue, pending) |
| Reminders | Automatic payment reminders to clients/agents and unpaid alerts to yacht owners, with your own email templates |
| Charter parties | The charter party built from the booking, with crew and captain, checked and exported for the Greek platform |
| Owners & profit | Owner details per yacht, expenses (one-off and recurring), profit per yacht, occupancy and cash flow |
| Team | Users with permissions, two-factor authentication, activity log, recycle bin |
What it is not
Basenautic is not a public booking engine or a channel manager: it does not sell weeks on a website or sync with charter marketplaces. It is the back office where your team records and follows every booking after it is agreed.
