Automatic payment reminders
How Basenautic chases unpaid instalments for you.
Settings → Notifications → Automatic reminders (administrators).
Every day, at the time you choose, Basenautic checks every unpaid instalment (first payment and balance) and emails:
- the client: the partner's email (direct bookings without a partner have no email to remind), and/or
- the yacht owner: the owner email(s) on the yacht, as an unpaid-booking alert.
| Setting | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Email the client | off | Turn client reminders on |
| Alert the yacht owner | off | Turn owner alerts on |
| Remind N days before the due date | 3 | 0 = no early reminder |
| Repeat every N days while unpaid | 7 | Spacing of follow-ups |
| Number of repeats after the due date | 3 | Then it stops |
| Send time (Greece) | 09:00 | When the daily run happens |
Safe by design
- Each reminder is sent once; the next one only after the repeat interval.
- Switching reminders on never sends a backlog of old reminders: only the current step of each instalment is sent.
- Paid instalments are never reminded.
- Accounts in read-only mode send no automatic reminders.
Run now runs the check immediately and shows how many were sent, failed or skipped (no email address).
