Who sends your emails (Basenautic or your own server)

Settings → Email server (administrators). Two options:

Basenautic email server (default, recommended)

Nothing to set up. Your emails are sent:

• From: Your Company Name noreply@basenautic.com
• Reply-to: your company email (Settings → Company)

So clients see your company name and their replies reach you.

Your own email server (SMTP)

Send from your own address (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Brevo, your hosting…). Enter the provider, SMTP server, port, encryption, username, password, sender email, sender name and optional reply-to. Switching back to the Basenautic server keeps these details.

Send a test email (up to 5 recipients) tests the settings even before you save them.

Account security emails (password reset, new sign-in, 2FA) always come from Basenautic, whatever you choose, so a broken company mail server never locks anyone out.
